This will be a very fun post! This will be the first “before and after” post, featuring a wrap that I will have the honor of hosting first and last on it’s travels. I will also post throughout the Summit’s travels with quotes from the host mamas!
It just came to me brand new from it’s owner, and might I say, its ROUGH. Dry, crunchy, wallpaper rough… This is the first Tekhni I’ve ever felt, but I’ve been told other’s are a bit softer right out of the gate. This is most certainly the scratchiest, sandpaper-ist, potato sack wrap I’ve ever felt! Without knowing this was 100% cotton, I would have guess that it was 100% linen, or a blend of linen and hemp because it has a thin, stiff feel to the touch. It’s owner lovingly refers to it as “the most expensive curtains” she’s ever owned!
The Summit wrap is a very stunning, almost shimmery white and aqua/teal color. It is a size 7, so it’s the longest wrap I’ve ever wrapped with as well. It does wrap very well, and holds a nice snug tie off. The saving grace to this wrap is that it does have a pretty decent stretch to it. I can’t wait to see how this feels after being broken in by another seven mamas!
Along it’s travels…
Host #1 – “I was like “oh man, curtain ” when I opened it. Lol. But it’s easy to get a good DH. And stays put. And I love the color! It’s way easy to wrap with. I don’t have to struggle with it like I anticipated lol!!”
Coming in September!
